Long Overdue Family Update

Wow, I have been so bad about keeping up with our blog lately! We have had a lot going on this past few weeks. Hailey got a horrible ear infection and after 2 different rounds of antibiotics didn't work she then had to get a shot and then a 10 day round of a different antibiotic. After 2 1/2 weeks she is finally starting to feel better and has been sleeping through the night again.

Hailey is growing up so fast! I can't believe she will be 16 months old in a few days. She unfortunately still isn't saying any words, but she has been obsessed with learning new songs. She now can do the motions to Wheels on the bus, Patty Cake, If your happy and you know it, and a few other gymboree songs. It's so cute because when I go get her in the mornings the first thing she wants is me to sing her a song. I really think she is concentrating so hard on these songs and motions she isn't talking yet. We are hopeful she will start talking soon though!

Hailey has really been into her baby dolls lately. She loves to carry them around and feed them a bottle. It is so adorable, I know she will be a great big sister!

The big family news is that we just found out that Mike got the job he applied for at Quantico. He will now be an instructor of Defense Tactics for the new FBI Special Agent trainees. We are very excited that we get to go back to Virginia. It will be great to be close to family and now Hailey can grow up with her cousin Caitlin. This weekend we are painting and cleaning so we can get our house on the market soon. Hopefully it will sell quickly! The sad thing is we only have a few months left in Charlotte, but I know we will love being back around family soon!
